Are you a Work from Home Dad? An Internet Entrepreneur? An Affiliate Marketer? Or perhaps a Mommy Enterprise? Or none of the above???
If you were looking to break out of the 9-5 job which of these work from home blogs might you be tempted to look at? I’d probably take a look at the first two or three but to be honest Mommy Enterprises wouldn’t really interest me, where as my wife would probably ignore the first three chose and plough ahead with Mommy Enterprises.
These blogs all have different target markets and demographics and that’s a good thing as far as getting relevant information is concerned for the reader, but in the case of the “Working at Home” niche there is more of a cross-over than perhaps any other industry. They have information relevant to their niche, but much of the content could be interchangeable.
So, whichever niche you put yourself into, why not take ten minutes to take a look to see what the other half is doing, you never know what you might learn.

I already know what the other half is doing it spending every waking moment on survey sites
Survey sites are ok but most work from home people now are cheesing white label sites. They are a good source of income and if you have a lot of friends on facebook or myspace then you are sure to earn at least a few quid each month. Refering friends to sites is a good way to arn a bit of extra cash. But what if you could own your own website? FOR FREE. you would think I was talking out my backside. But as long as you have an email address you can. You could start your own dating website for free and prepopulate it with members so it doesnt look empty to people visiting it. All that it requires is marketing it correctly, this is where your myspace and facebook come in, also blogging and forums. I’m a realtor, and more recently an affiliate marketer. It takes time to build but definitely believe in building an extra revenue source while the times are lean and when I do have more time on my hands.
Hi Lydon
I have just come across your blog today, got to admit I’m very impressed.
I have got to say survey sites are OK but not as good as affiliate or your own website, as I think the rewards are far greater with the later two, plus you seem to put more into the marketing to.
Well I have a website, it pretty much covers work from home related
stuff just like your site.
Why not come and check it out if you get time.

He is also scraping my content. Just thought I’d let you know. You might have to look back in the archives to find your stuff.
Thanks for letting me know Lisa,
I’ve contacted their hosting company and dropped them an email. I’ve edited your comment as not to give them any more traffic!
Personally there is only one work from home niche
That I feel there are any substantial rewards and that’s affiliate marketing.
Yes it’s hard to start with. But the future rewards can be life changing.
Check it out.

hello, if your here your probably researchin on working from home. Whilste its true that there are alot of scams out there (believe me i know, i’ve been stung a few times) there are legit work at home schemes that do work! This particular one I’m doing is very good, and whilste it will take a bit of effort and time to start, once its up and running its very easy to maintaine and requires very little of your time. So do yourself a favour and check it out, it may not be for you, but its definately worth the 5 mins it will take you to look at!
Funny…I stumbled across your blog for precisely this reason. I wanted to see what blogs I could find outside the world of independent consulting.
I’ve been trying to work from home as a data entry operator for 18 months and although I’m making enough money to live on, I find myself working longer hours than ever!
Affiliate marketing is a great source of income, although as said in the other comment, my other half also loves to do surveys!
James
Thanks – Mommy Enterprises is exactly what I was looking for!

It is great seeing others that work from home. I agree taking the time to see what the other half is doing could open doors.
Working at home is definitely a challenge and adjustment.
I really like the way you’ve segmented these markets out. Very clever.
Check out http://www.toptenwah.com/75.html for a full review of the top ten work at home opportunities that are legitimate and scam-free. Of all online opportunities 95% are found to be scams and of the remaining 5% we have listed the top ten legitimate ones. You can find your niche from a choice of different opportunties and start earning proper money.
Working from home is really attractive but an mom wanting to do this should be aware that there are many scams and non existing job offers available…I tried myself many opportunities and I would say that for 3 sites or tests I did, I would dig 2 of them…Beeing a mom myself and now working from home, I list on my site a few pages of legit companies that offer work from home job (paid surveys, data entry..) without any fee to pay or form to complete.
From my experience and from the paycheck I have, I think data entry is really nice as it can be done at whatever time of the day (baby naptime) and it’s quite efficient if you type fast (lucky me).
When I see all the e-commerce sites opening everywhere, I’m currently looking for work at home customer service people position. I’m sure that by accessing a product /service database, most of the customers issues calling a customer service can be satisfied.
Here is my site, feel free to delete if goes against your tos :

Interesting blog Lyndon. I’m just starting out, so any ideas I can pick up are handy. I agree that you can have the best product or blog in the world, but if nobody sees it you’re wasting your time, so that’s what I’m working on.
You seem to be doing just fine but the best of luck to you anyway.
Jim
p.s. If anyone would like to check out my blog which is based around making money online and what to avoid (because I didn’t). Then go to…

Hi guys,
I commented on this blog back in April. I have seen a huge increase in the demand for white label sites. There is now a one stop website that will hallow you to create you own dating website in minuets. http://www.turnkeysolutions.net I want to put together some training material to help get people started. Your not gonna be rich over night but if you put an hour a day in you could make 2-3 paid sign ups per day. Is there anything that people would like me to focus on in the training? It will cover how to generate members from social networking site and what type of advertising would best fit your site….With dating sites most people know that its a good idea to create a local adult site and hand out leaflets to any guy with a debit card (quite often at colleges and universities). Well drop me a line if you want to know how to succesfully promote gpxbiker@hotmail.co.uk.
Working from home needs research before plunging into it. There are hundreds of work from home opportunities but you should be careful while checking and so researching is good.

Hello

You should check it out, http://cashleveragingnetwork.cn, you can email me if you have any questions, i hold nothing back
I think different ideas suit different people, as they require different techniques to make them successful and to make money. A few of my friends make money through online surveys but it just doesn’t suit me. Each to their own. Great blog
There are many many opportunities to make money Online.
However, very few really payoff.
Take care, do research and believe in your product.

Which internet biz can give real rewards? The answer is actually lie within yourself. Yes, basically we have thousand of offers, this is because the possibility of internet is still expanding rapidly and always create opportunity. Unfortunately some people take this
The simplest way is identify your expertise and start from there. Create a plan and goal and STICK to it, even though on and off, you will encounter some great opportunity, usually are just some hype. Don’t be easily distracted by those hype. 90% of internet start-up failed because they jump around from one project to another, always giving excuse to avoid completing what the have planned or start.
For example you can start an internet business using Yahoo Answer, By providing valuable answer to your visitor. Don’t jump from one topic or market to another. Focus on your topic and consistently using your 2 hours to answer. Drive the topic deep. Be careful not to spam, there is a very thin line between value provider and spammer.
To know more about the strategy and yet 100% legitimate and not violating Yahoo answer policy. Kindly go to the source site for more details.

I love this site for the useful content and relevant advice offered.
People hop on Internet with a dream to make money online. Most of them end up angry, frustrated, depressed loosing thousands of dollars to “Successful” internet marketers. So whose fault is it ? Newbie’s ? Or Marketer’s ? I think it depends on case-to-case. But there is 1 truth that the sellers never tell the buyers. That truth I feel is that income needs selling something of value. So minimum buying and maximum selling is the key to online income success. I am a work-from-home Dad
I have tried a number of online ways to make money and none have worked as well as this work from home opportunity. I work less hours and make more!! If you are looking for an opportunity where you don’t have to work alone, try to figure it all out yourself and want ongoing support, then it maybe worth having a look at my site. We don’t do MLM or Pyramid, what we do do is run a business with integrity.
I like the way you think..there are many different ways to develop a successful home business. You make it clear in this article how important it is to learn about all of them.
Peace and Abundance,
