It can get very overwhelming if you don't have a plan in place and one that makes sense to you. If you are trying to promote a site, you need to know what kind of marketing techniques are the best ones to use and that are effective.

What you want to do each and every night before you go to sleep is to write down what you are going to do the next day in terms of marketing.

If you are not doing this, you are going to get very frustrated and very fast.

You have to have a plan in place. That is what I do each day.

Hope this helps.

I'm a mac user and use Apple Mail's list and notes features. I've found it incredibly useful because it's in one place I ALWAYS look, my email! Even better is that I can email a note to myself so that I have it on my iPhone on-the-go.

sounds like a useful tool. Organization is a main key to keep you focused on your make money from home goals. I am an affiliate marketer and without a step by step to do list, and implementing that list. My business would be in trouble if i didn't follow my goals!

great tips thanks!

I have 3 lists on a piece of page, they are:

Could Do
Should Do
Must Do

The things on my 'Must Do' list take priority, if it ever gets empty (which rare) then I work through my should do list.

Great blog by the way, I am now a subscriber :)

To do lists are a great way to help keep your head above water when things get really busy. One of the things I like to do with mine is break it up into four categories:

1. Urgent and important

2. Non Urgent and important

3. Urgent and not important

4. Non Urgent and not important.

This allows me to prioritise my tasks on what I should be doing, not just what is on the top of the list.
