Great post motivation is very important without it, you lose focus. ‘’ We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit’’

Nicely put. Motivation and having goals that are realistic and achievable will keep you on track. Working from home will often get distracted easily. You need a dedicated work space. You also need a dream board to remind you of your goals and this will fuel your motivation.

I totally agree sometimes it can be hard to not be motivated enough, when things are not going your way! But you have to realize, if you want to acheive your work at home dreams someday motivation is the primary driving factor. And keep working do as much as you can even if it's just a few small things a day it all adds up in the end!

Nicely said Lyndon, We tend to start something with great motivation only to get side tracked or overwhelmed by everything else going on around us or in the new business itself. I myself started with great inspiration, but had to realign my thoughts after a few months of stumbling around, however it is a learning curve and I am sure we all get better everyday, as long as we do a little everyday.
I totally agree - don't give up!

As a new blogger I often get discouraged by a low Google page rank, or not as much traffic as I would like to see. I think the key is to let go of unrealistic expectations and slowly build.

Excellent post on keeping motivated! Writing blogs is fun and it's a challenge...you have good days and bad days.

I like the old Japanese saying, "fall seven times, get up eight."
